Civil Engineer

I’m Kavi Raj, and I’ve got my setup here in Sawanpuri, Jagadhri. My house and office are at number 1023. It’s a familiar place for everyone around Yamuna Nagar. I’ve been working as an engineer for quite a long time. Being in a place like this, you get to know everyone. I don't have a big corporate logo or anything like that. It’s just me and my tools. Most of my day is spent checking on small projects or helping someone figure out why their wall is cracking. I grew up around here, so I know the local people and how they like things done. My father, Ram Sharan, was well-known too. I try to keep that reputation going by just being honest. My office isn't fancy. It's got a big table and some old chairs. There’s always a bit of dust because of all the industry around Jagadhri. I don’t mind it. It’s just how it is here. I like the challenge of making things work on a tight budget. Engineering isn't always about big budgets; it’s about being smart with what you have. I spend my evenings catching up on paperwork and planning for the next day. It’s not an exciting life, but it’s a good one. People know where to find me if they have a problem. I’m usually right here at my desk or out in the neighborhood.
