Srk Interiors

Working at Srk Interiors near Kirti College in Prashanth Nagar is always interesting because of the students walking by. Our shop is where we do most of the planning and some of the smaller assembly work. There is usually a bit of sawdust on the floor and the smell of glue or paint in the air. We focus on getting things done for people's homes and shops nearby. Prashanth Nagar is a nice area, and we have been here long enough that we know where to get the best snacks in the afternoon. The office part is just a small corner with a computer and a lot of catalogs that are falling apart from use. We spend most of our time out at the clients' places, measuring walls or checking on the carpenters. It is not a glamorous job, but it is satisfying to see a room change. We don't have a big showroom with lights and fancy displays. We just show people photos of what we did before on our phones. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to sit outside for a bit until it comes back. It’s a simple setup and we like it that way. Most of the guys have been working together for years, so we don't need to say much to know what needs to happen next. It is just steady work with wood and fabric every day.
