Ultratech Rmc, Mysore

We operate Ultratech Rmc, Mysore, but our actual location is quite a bit away from Mysore city. We are based out of Khanalli in the Yadgiry Taluk. The specific spot is Dandmbalikar, near Arikera. It’s in the Gulbarga district of Karnataka. Working out here means we are right in the middle of the rural landscape. It’s a lot of open space and fresh air, though it gets very hot in the summer months. Our work involves ready-mix concrete, so there is always a lot of machinery and noise around the site. We don't have a fancy office building. It’s more of a functional space where we keep our equipment and logs. Most of our workers live in the surrounding villages like Khanalli or Arikera. We don’t do much in the way of advertising. Usually, the word just spreads from one site to another. We spend a lot of time checking the mix and making sure the trucks are ready to head out. It’s a tough, physical job and we don’t try to make it sound like anything else. The roads around Yadgiry can be a challenge for the heavy trucks, especially after it rains. We just take it slow and get the concrete where it needs to be. It is basic, hard work that keeps the local construction moving. We’ve been part of this district for a long time and plan to stay here.
