Pariwar Dhaba

You’ll find us out on the Bidar Bangalore Road in Shahapur, right near the KEB office. We are a dhaba, so don't expect anything too polished. It’s a place for people who are traveling and need a break from the road. We get a lot of truck drivers and families who are driving between cities. The air is open and we have plenty of space for parking, which is what most people are looking for when they stop here. It’s dusty out here in Gulbarga, but we keep the place as clean as we can. The food is cooked the way dhabas always do it, nothing too fancy but it fills you up. We’ve got the regular charpais and tables. It’s a simple life out here on the highway. We start early and stay open late because the road never really sleeps. People stop by for a quick tea or a full meal. We don't have a big marketing plan or anything like that. We just put the sign up and people come in when they are hungry. The staff are all local people who know the area well. It can get pretty hot during the day, but we have some shade. It’s just a practical stop for anyone on their way to Bangalore or Bidar. We do our work, feed the people, and that is about it for us. It is just the way highway life goes.
