National Traders

Our shop is located on the ground floor of the Ilkal Complex, which is right in the heart of Shorapur. It’s been our home for quite some time now, and we’ve gotten used to the daily rhythm of the village and taluk life. Being at number 25 means we see a lot of foot traffic passing by our door every single day. The ground floor spot is handy because we’re constantly moving goods in and out, and nobody wants to carry heavy stuff up the stairs. It’s a bit crowded inside with all the stock we keep, but we know exactly where everything is, even if it looks like a mess to someone else. We deal with all sorts of trading goods, mostly things that local people need for their daily work or homes. The lighting in the complex isn't the best, but we keep the front doors open to let the sun in. On market days, it gets really loud and busy outside, which makes for a long day. We usually start early in the morning before the heat gets too bad. We don't have a website or anything like that, we just talk to whoever walks in. It’s simple, honest work and we like it that way. We’ve known most of our customers for years, and their kids now come in too. It’s just how things go here in Shorapur. We wouldn't change it for anything.
