Birds Heal Hospital

Kellur is a quiet place, and that’s where you will find Birds Heal Hospital. There isn't much around here besides the fields and the sky. We spend our days looking after birds that aren't doing so well. It’s a different kind of work than a regular hospital. We don’t have fancy waiting rooms or a front desk with a computer. Mostly, it is just cages, medicine, and the sound of wings. The people in Kellur know where we are if they find a bird on the ground. Sometimes it’s a small sparrow and other times it’s something bigger. The air is fresh out here, which is good for the animals. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who know how to handle them. The building is simple, made of stone and wood mostly. It stays cool in the summer. We spend a lot of time cleaning up and making sure there is enough water. It’s not the kind of job that makes you rich, but it feels right. The birds don't say thank you, but you can tell when they are feeling better. When they fly away, that’s the end of our job with them. We stay here in Kellur, waiting for the next one to come in. The road is dusty and the neighbors are few, but we like the peace of this spot. It’s a honest way to spend a day.
