M.K.D Public English School Ghazipur

Our school is on the first floor of the South Block on B K Road in Banamalipur. Being on the first floor means we are slightly removed from the direct noise of the street, but you can still hear the horns and the general bustle of West Tripura right outside. The entrance is a bit narrow, and you have to walk up the stairs to get to us. We’ve tried to make the space inside feel welcoming with some posters on the walls and a few benches for visitors. The classrooms are lined up along the hallway. Because we are in a commercial block, the layout is a bit different from a traditional school building. We have to be careful about space, so everything is tucked in quite tightly. The light comes in from the windows overlooking B K Road, and you can see the shops and offices across the way. It gets pretty warm in the middle of the day, so we rely heavily on the fans to keep the air moving. We use English for our lessons, and you can often hear the kids practicing their pronunciation in unison. Most of our students live within walking distance, so they come in groups every morning. It’s a practical location for parents who work nearby. We don’t have a big playground, so we make do with the indoor space we have for activities. It's just a simple, functional school in a busy part of town.
