If you go all the way to Agartala in Tripura, you will find us there. We are in the West part of the city, pin 799005. It’s quite a distance from the bigger hubs but we like it. The office is just a basic room where we keep our files and records. Gammon India Limited has been operating from this spot for a while now. It’s not a fancy setup. We have a couple of desks, some plastic chairs for when visitors come, and a lot of registers. The weather here can be quite humid so we usually have the windows open to catch a breeze. It’s a quiet life in Agartala compared to the mainland cities. We know the people in the neighborhood and they know us. There is no corporate dress code or anything like that. We just wear what is comfortable and get on with the tasks for the day. Sometimes the internet is slow and we have to wait, but that’s just how it is. We don’t complain much. We just do the work that is in front of us. It’s a simple operation and we don’t try to make it look like something it isn’t. We are just a local branch doing our part in Tripura.
