Bishnupriya Iron Store

Bishnupriya Iron Store is situated right opposite the Kamini Kumar School on Assam Agartala Road. We are in the Tripura West area and have been here for a good number of years. It’s a convenient spot because everyone knows the school. The shop is mostly filled with iron rods, pipes, and sheets that people use for building their homes or fixing things. It is not a very big store, so things are piled up pretty high. Sometimes it’s a bit of a struggle to get to the stuff at the bottom of the stack. We see the school kids and their parents every morning and afternoon, which makes the place feel quite lively. The road can get a bit muddy when it rains, but people still come in to get their supplies. We don't have any big sales pitches. We just tell people what we have and what the price is. Most of our customers are locals who are doing some construction work. We spend a lot of time talking to them about what they are building. It’s a friendly atmosphere, even if the shop itself is a bit dark and full of heavy metal. We just try to keep enough stock so that when someone comes in, we don't have to send them away empty-handed. It’s a decent way to make a living in this part of town and we appreciate the neighbors.
