Our small office is at Mig 1 Adityapur 2 in Jamshedpur. It’s a Jharkhand address, and being in the steel city, you can always feel that industrial energy in the air. We are based in an MIG house, so it’s not your typical corporate setup. It feels more like a neighborhood office where people know each other. We handle things for India Today from here, and it’s usually just a few of us. The rooms are a bit small, but we’ve managed to fit in all the computers and equipment we need. It gets quite humid during the monsoon season, and the walls sometimes get those damp patches, but we don't mind much. We have a small porch where we sometimes sit and talk about the day's work. The road outside is usually busy with people heading to the factories. We’ve got a couple of ceiling fans that spin all day long to keep the air moving. It is a simple life here. We don't have a big HR department or a cafeteria. We just bring our own tiffins and eat at our desks while we work. It’s honest work and we’ve been part of this community for a long time. People around here know the address and occasionally drop by just to say hello or ask us about the news. We keep a stack of old directories by the door for reference too.
