You can find Bhagwati Traders right in the middle of Madhu Bazar at Shop No-15. Being near the IDBI Bank makes it easy for people to give directions to us. Chaibasa is a lively place, especially on market days when the bazar gets really packed with people and carts. Our shop isn't the biggest, but we pack a lot into those four walls. We deal with various trading goods that people in town need. It’s a family-run kind of feel here. Some mornings we are rushing to get everything ready before the crowds arrive. We’ve been at this spot for a good length of time now. The shelves are usually full, and sometimes things get a little dusty, but we know where everything is kept. It’s not a polished environment, just a practical one for doing business. We talk to a lot of people every day, which is the best part of being in Madhu Bazar. You hear all the local news while you’re working. We focus on just getting the job done and helping out whoever walks through the door. The address is pretty straightforward once you reach the bank. We don't have a website or anything like that; we just prefer face-to-face talk. It’s how things have always worked for us in Chaibasa. We just try to keep things moving and stay on top of the stock. Sometimes the power goes out and we use flashlights. We have a small bench out front where older customers sit for a rest.
