Tomo Riba State Hospital

Tomo Riba State Hospital is located in Naharlagun. We are situated near the bank, which is how most people give directions to get here. Being a state hospital, we are a public facility, so we see a massive amount of people every single day. The building is large and has been there for quite some time. It has that feel of a government building, with long hallways and many different wards. It’s never really quiet here. There are always people in the waiting areas, families visiting, and staff rushing around. We deal with everything from minor accidents to more serious long-term illnesses. Naharlagun is a busy place, and being near the bank means there’s always traffic and noise outside. We just get on with the work. The floors are worn from so many people walking on them over the years. We don't have a marketing department or anything like that because we are a public service. People come to us because they need to, and we do what we can with the resources we have. It’s a tough job sometimes, but it’s an important one for the people in this part of the state. We just keep the doors open and try to help every person who walks in. It’s a busy, loud, and very real place to work every day. It's not perfect, but we do the job.
