Vedanta Aluminium Limited

We've been working out of the Chandimandir area for quite a while now. It’s right in Prembazar, near Hijli in Kharagpur. If you know the area, it gets pretty busy around here with the local traffic and people just moving about their day. We handle the aluminium stuff for Vedanta. Most days start early because the heat in West Bengal can get pretty intense by noon. Our office isn't anything fancy, just a regular place where we get the paperwork done and talk to the drivers. Sometimes the power goes out, but we just keep going. People often ask what we actually do here. Well, it's mostly coordinating things for the larger company. We are based at pin code 721306. The team here is mostly local folks. We have our tea breaks at the corner shop. It's not a corporate skyscraper or anything like that. Just a functional space in Kharagpur. We see a lot of trucks coming in and out. The roads around Midnapore can be a bit rough sometimes, especially during the monsoon season. We try to keep the desks tidy but there's always files everywhere. It’s just how it goes when you’re busy. We’ve been at this spot for a bit and we know the neighbors well. It’s a decent place to work, even if it gets loud sometimes with all the activity. We just focus on the daily tasks.
