Simplex Infrastructures Ltd

In Santuria, out in the Paschim Medinipur district, we’ve got a quiet little office. Arjuni is the nearest post office, so it’s pretty deep in the countryside. Working here is different because you’re really close to nature. We see the seasons change right outside the door. Most of our day is spent looking at logistics and making sure the supplies are moving through the district. It’s a lot of coordination since we’re a bit far from the main hubs. The office is small and gets a bit hot in the afternoons, but we manage. We’ve got a small stove for making tea, which is the most used piece of equipment we own. People who work here are mostly locals or people who have moved here for the project. We’ve become like a small family, eating lunch together and complaining about the heat or the mosquitoes. We don’t have a marketing team or anyone to make things sound pretty. It’s just us doing the daily grind. The walls are covered in schedules and checklists. It’s not a place for tourists, that’s for sure. It’s a place for people who don’t mind getting their hands a bit dirty. Simplex Infrastructures Ltd is just trying to get the infrastructure built so the area can grow a bit more. We keep our heads down and just get on with the task at hand.
