Out here in Jhargram, things move a bit slower than they do in the big cities. The office is actually located at Basanti Chatterjee’s place in Ghoradhara, right in the West Bengal district of Paschim Medinipur. It’s a quiet residential area, which makes it a nice place to work from most of the year. Our main focus is handling the tissue business, ensuring the supplies get to where they need to go in the local region. This office isn't much to look at, just a room filled with boxes and some old ledgers, but it gets the job done well enough for us. A lot of time goes into coordinating with the delivery folks and checking that our stock is up to date. The weather in this part of Bengal can get very hot and humid, so the team tries to do most of the heavy work in the early mornings. We have been part of this community for a long time and know almost everyone on the street by their first name. It is not a big corporate operation; think of it more as a family-style business. We don't bother with any big advertisements or fancy slogans because people know where we are. Our focus is simply on getting the paper products out to the shops and businesses around Jhargram. Sometimes the local roads are a bit rough, but we have our own way of getting things delivered regardless of the situation.
