We are based in Kharagpur, over in West Midnapur. It’s a place that a lot of people know because of the railway and the big college, but for us, it’s just where we work every day. The office is situated in a spot that lets us get out to the various sites in the district without too much trouble. We have a fairly large yard for the machinery because the soil around here can be tough on the equipment, so things need regular fixing. The humidity in West Midnapur is no joke, and it takes a toll on the men and the machines alike. We keep a stash of spare parts and extra cement bags in the warehouse. The staff is a mix of people who have been here forever and some younger guys learning the ropes. We don't have any fancy mission statements hanging on the walls. Mostly, it’s just charts showing where the equipment is and who is working on what shift. If you stop by, you’ll see us looking over site reports or arguing about the best way to move a heavy load through the narrow backroads. It’s a grounded way of living. We deal with the rain, the heat, and the occasional transport delay as they come. It's just about getting the job finished and moving on to the next one.
