Our Hdfc Standard Life Insurance Co. Ltd. office is located at Agarwal Estate in Kharagpur. We are on the ground floor, which is nice because nobody has to climb any stairs to reach us. The location is near Camala Cabin on O.T. Road in the Inda area. If you are familiar with Paschim Medinipur, you know this is a busy stretch of road. The office itself is pretty basic. We have the usual desks and computers and a lot of binders filled with policy information. Being on the ground floor means we see a lot of what's happening on the street. People often poke their heads in to ask for directions before realizing we are an insurance office. We spend the day helping people with their life insurance needs, which mostly means checking signatures and making sure the forms are sent to the right place. It can get a bit loud with the trucks passing by on O.T. Road, but we are used to it by now. The team here is small and we’ve worked together for a long time. We know the local area well. It isn't a fancy setup with leather chairs or anything. It is just a place where we do our jobs and try to help the people who walk through the door. We keep it simple and stay busy with the files.
