Tutorshillong Ed-Tech Llp

We are located up in Nongstoin in the West Khasi Hills. Specifically, we are at Dahunty Lyngdoh’s place. Being in Meghalaya, the weather is often a bit chilly or rainy, so our office is a cozy spot to get work done. We call ourselves Tutorshillong even though we are based here in Nongstoin. We focus on ed-tech, which basically means we use computers and the internet to help with teaching and learning. It’s an interesting mix because we are in a more remote area but we are using technology to bridge that gap for students. Most of our work involves setting up online resources or helping local students get used to digital learning tools. It’s not always easy because the internet can be spotty when the weather gets bad in the hills, but we manage. The office is simple, just some desks and our laptops. We don't have a big sign or a fancy entrance. People in Nongstoin usually know us by name anyway. We spend a lot of time talking to parents about how their kids can use technology to study better at home. We aren't trying to be a big tech firm from the city. We are just local people trying to use these new tools to help out our community. It’s a quiet life up here in the hills, and we like that we can do this kind of work right from our own town without having to move away to the big city.
