Visha Clothing Co. is located at 13/34, Navjivan Society, right on Lamington Road. It’s a busy neighborhood, and our space is often filled with stacks of fabric and half-finished garments. We don't have a sleek showroom or a minimalist design. It’s a working shop where the sound of sewing machines is pretty much constant. We’ve been in this spot for years, and we’ve seen the area change quite a bit. Most of our tailors and cutters have been with us for a long time. They know their craft well. We don't use marketing slogans or try to sound like a big fashion house. We just make clothes that people can actually wear. It’s a lot of measuring, cutting, and stitching every single day. The office part is just a desk in the corner with a phone and a bunch of order slips. Lamington Road is always noisy, but we don't mind it much anymore. Sometimes we run behind on orders when the fabric shipments are late. It’s a common thing in this business. We don't have a big mission statement. We just try to get the stitching right and the sizes consistent. It’s practical work. People find us because they know we’ve been here forever. We keep things simple and honest. If you come by, you'll likely find us busy at the tables. That’s just how we run the shop at Visha.
