Venkata Suryanarayana Cool Drinks

Our shop, Venkata Suryanarayana Cool Drinks, is a familiar spot for people living in Narsapur. We are located at 3-21-21 on KN Road. This street gets a lot of foot traffic, especially during the middle of the day when the humidity starts to get really heavy. The shop isn't much to look at from the outside, just a small storefront with some old signs and a lot of refrigerators. We spend most of our time opening bottles and handing out straws. It’s the kind of place where people stop for five minutes to stand under the fan and have a quick drink before moving on with their chores. I’ve been working here for years, and I know most of the regulars by their first names or at least by what they usually order. We have to keep a close eye on the ice supply because once that runs out, we are in trouble. The shelves are packed with different colors of liquid, and we try to keep them organized, but in the rush, things often get mixed up. Cleaning the glass cases is a never-ending job because of the fingerprints and the dust from the road. We don't have any big ambitions to expand or anything. We just want to keep the shop running and stay cool ourselves. It’s a modest way to make a living, but it keeps us connected to the local community here in Narsapur.
