Our group, Sri Rama Vaarahi Farmers Producer Company Limited, is located in Sriramavaram. You can find our spot at H No 11-533, which is right there on the Main Road. T.Narasapuram is the mandal we belong to in West Godavari. We started this because a few of us neighbors realized we were all facing the same problems with getting supplies and selling what we grow. Instead of struggling individually, we registered this company. We don’t have a big staff, just the farmers themselves taking turns to manage the office work. The building isn't much to look at, just a functional place for our meetings and keeping records. Most of our time is spent out in the fields anyway. We handle everything from seeds to the final sale, trying to keep things fair for everyone involved in the group. It is honest work, and we prefer it that way. In Andhra Pradesh, the weather dictates our schedule, so some months are quiet and others are incredibly hectic. We don't use big words or fancy promises. We just work the land and try to keep the business side of the farm from falling apart. If you are around Sriramavaram, you’ve likely seen us around.
