Soumith Machines

Our place is Soumith Machines and we are located at 485 Adavipalem in the West Godavari district. It’s a quiet spot away from the big city noise which is nice for us. We spend our days working on different kinds of machines in our workshop. It’s a large open space with a high roof but it still gets very hot during the summer months. We have a lot of heavy equipment and tools scattered around the floor. It’s not the most organized place in the world but we know where everything is when we need it. Most of the people who come to see us are from around the local area. They know we’ve been here for a long time. We don’t have any marketing people or a sales team. If you want to talk to us you just come to the shop and find us working. We usually have grease on our hands and a lot on our minds. The work is hard and it’s often very loud when we are testing something out. We like the independence of having our own shop in Adavipalem. We don’t go in for anything corporate or polished because it wouldn't fit how we work. It’s just an honest machine shop where we do our best with what we have. That’s really all there is to it. We just keep at it day after day until the job is done.
