Ruchi Soda

Ruchi Soda is a small operation located at 1-2-99 in Rr Peta, over in West Godavari. It’s a basic shop, really. We don’t have much in the way of furniture, just the essentials for storing and selling soda. The area is usually quite warm, so we stay busy keeping things chilled. We don't spend money on ads or anything like that. We just rely on people walking by and stopping in. My day starts with checking the stock levels. If we are low on something, I have to get on the phone and sort it out. It’s a lot of small tasks that add up. We’ve been at this address for a while now. The building has its quirks, like a door that squeaks and a floor that isn’t quite level in the back. We don't mind. It feels like home to us. We see the same people every afternoon when the sun is at its hottest. They come in for a quick drink and a chat about the weather. We aren't trying to change the world. We are just trying to run a decent business in Rr Peta. Sometimes we run out of change or the delivery is late, but we make it work. It’s a simple life. We don't have any big plans for expansion. We just want to keep doing what we are doing and serve the folks here in West Godavari. It is a steady way to spend the years. We take it one day at a time.
