R. K. Impex

R. K. Impex is tucked away at 21, Shyam Colony, which is just outside Gangan Pole and near the Kanahaiya Lal Nursery. It’s a bit of a maze to find us if you’re not from around here. We handle imports and exports from this small office. The nursery nearby gives us a bit of green to look at, which is nice because the area can be quite dusty during the summer months. We have been here for years. The office is full of boxes and samples of things we’ve sent or received from other places. We don’t have much in the way of decoration. It’s mostly just shelves and old computers and files. We spend a lot of time on the phone with customs and shipping agents. It can be frustrating when things get stuck at the port, but that’s just part of the business. We have a small group of people working here. We all know what we need to do each day. It’s a bit cramped, especially when a new shipment arrives and we have to sort through everything. Shyam Colony is a quiet place for the most part, except for the sounds from the nursery and the local traffic passing by. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a big fancy office. We just focus on getting the goods from one place to another. It’s what we know how to do, and we’ve been doing it from this spot for a long time.
