Msm Ramprasad & Co

Msm Ramprasad & Co is based out of Bhimavaram in the West Godavari District of Andhra Pradesh. You can find the office in the Srirampuram area, with the pincode 534 202. This is a very local operation and the office reflects that. It is a simple building where the doors are usually kept open to let in whatever breeze we can get in this humid weather. Inside, the walls are painted a plain white and there are big cupboards full of old ledgers and tax records. Since we are in the heart of West Godavari, a lot of our work revolves around the local economy and the businesses here. We don't have a website or a social media manager. Most people just know us by name and stop by when they have something to discuss. There is a big wooden table where we sit and go through the books with a calculator and a pen. Sometimes we sit there for hours just reconciling the accounts. The sounds of the local street, with the scooters and the nearby market, are always in the background. We have a small staff of local people who have lived in Bhimavaram their whole lives. We don't use much English in the office unless we are writing official letters. It’s a very traditional way of doing business, where your word and the physical records in the cabinet matter more than anything else.
