Mpup 2 School

Our school is tucked away in Singarajupalem. Being in West Godavari, we are surrounded by a lot of greenery and fields. It is a quiet spot most of the time, except when the children are playing outside. The Mpup 2 School has been serving this local area for years. We aren't a huge institution with glass buildings. It is just a simple place where the local kids come to get their basic education. Most of our staff live nearby, so everyone knows everyone else. Sometimes the rains make the roads a bit muddy, but the children still find their way here. We have a few classrooms and some desks that have seen better days, but they work. We spend our mornings teaching and our afternoons making sure the school records are straight. It is a very practical setup. No one here is trying to be fancy. We just focus on the books and the lessons. Sometimes we have small events if it’s a holiday, but mostly it is just the daily routine of bells and chalk. You can hear the sounds of the village while sitting in the office. It feels like home to most of us who work here. We do our best with what we have and the parents seem to appreciate having a school so close to their houses. It makes life easier for the families in Singarajupalem. We just take it one day at a time.
