Manojna General

Manojna General is located at 254/48, right by the R K Lodge in Penugonda, West Godavari. It is a handy spot because people staying at the lodge often come over when they forget their soap or need a quick snack. Penugonda is a place where everyone seems to know each other, and we are right there in the mix. The shop is small and has that specific smell of a general store—a mix of laundry soap and dried grains. We don't have any fancy computers, just a notebook where we write things down. At 254/48, we see a lot of travelers and local workers. The West Godavari weather can be quite humid, so we usually have the door wide open to let the air move. My family helps out sometimes when it gets busy in the evenings. We spend time sorting through the jars and making sure the biscuits aren't crushed. R K Lodge is a good landmark for us. People tell their friends to meet them near Manojna General. It is just a simple life here in Penugonda. We don't have any grand statements about our work.
