Leomeridian Resorts

The resort is tucked away in Kopparru Village, which is part of the Narsapur Mandal in West Godavari. It is a very green area and quite a bit slower than the big cities. We spend a lot of our time just walking around the grounds making sure the plants are watered and the rooms are ready for whoever shows up. The address is quite a mouthful when you try to write it out, but everyone around here knows Ravuri Padmajirao’s place. It is a quiet life out here in Andhra Pradesh. We have a small crew of local folks who help keep things running. We do not have those big automated systems or fancy uniforms you see in the city hotels. It is more of a family feel here. Sometimes the rain makes the roads a bit messy, but that is just part of living in the village. We grow some of our own vegetables on the land and the air is a lot fresher than what you get in the town. Usually, the evenings are the best time because it finally cools down and you can hear all the birds in the trees. We are just here in Kopparru keeping the doors open for anyone who needs a quiet place to stay for a night or two. It is a lot of work under the sun but we like the pace of it.
