Good Samaritan Cancer Hospital

Good Samaritan Cancer Hospital is located out in Vangayagudem. It’s a bit removed from the main city buzz, which we think is better for the people staying with us. We specifically deal with cancer care, which is a very serious and often difficult field. The hospital itself is a modest building. We don't have any big statues or fancy fountains out front. It’s just a functional medical facility. We have several wards for the patients and a small area for families to sit and wait. Because we are in Vangayagudem, we get people coming from all the nearby rural areas. Many of them don't have a lot of money, so we try to keep things as practical as possible. We don't have a big office for marketing or PR. We just focus on the treatments and the daily care of the patients. The staff here is small, and we all know each other well. We work long hours, and it can be emotionally draining, but we just keep at it. There is a small patch of grass outside where people can get some fresh air. We try to keep the atmosphere calm and quiet inside. We don't use a lot of corporate talk. We just explain the situation to the families in a way they can understand. It’s a quiet life here at the hospital, and we just do our best for everyone who comes through our doors. It’s not much, but it’s what we can provide for the community.
