G D Pre School

G D Pre School is over on New Bank Colony Road in Palakollu. If you are looking for the place, it is near the 33-12-3 address. Being a pre-school, it is rarely quiet here. From the moment the doors open, there is the sound of little kids talking, crying, or just running around. We have decorated the walls with some bright drawings and alphabets to make it look a bit more cheerful for the little ones. The furniture is all small-sized, which looks a bit funny if you are an adult trying to sit down. We spend a lot of our time just watching over them and making sure they don’t bump into each other. Palakollu can get quite warm, so we try to keep the rooms ventilated. There are toys scattered in the play area, and we have to pick them up about ten times a day. It is a lot of work, and your back can get tired from leaning over to talk to the kids. Most of the parents are local people who work nearby or live just a few streets away. We know them by name, and they know us. It’s not a corporate chain or anything like that; it’s just a small school for the neighborhood toddlers. Sometimes we have little events where the kids wear costumes, and those days are especially chaotic. But mostly, it’s just a regular daily routine of snacks, naps, and simple lessons.
