Bhimavaram Hospitals Limited. Our place is right across from the SKRN Engineering College on J.P Road. You can see the students walking back and forth all day long. The road stays quite crowded, especially when classes let out and the buses start moving. We have been here for a good bit of time now, and the building has seen better days, but it serves its purpose for the town. Inside, it’s mostly white walls and those long benches where people wait for their names to be called. We usually have a lot of folks coming in throughout the morning, so things can get a bit hectic near the reception desk. My desk is tucked in the corner, and I spend most of my time filing papers or answering the phone when it rings. The air conditioner works most of the time, but when it’s really hot out, it struggles to keep the whole hallway cool. We try to keep the floors mopped, though it’s hard with everyone walking in from the dusty street outside. J.P Road is a main stretch, so there’s always a horn honking or a bike zooming past the front door. We don’t have much in the way of decoration, maybe a few posters about health on the walls that have been there for years. It’s just a regular hospital where we go about our daily tasks and help whoever comes through.
