Our office is located at Door No 857-69 in Devarapalli. It is a simple place, really. We started Akasham Chit Funds because we wanted to have something of our own here in the local area. We don't have many employees, just a handful of us who know each other well. The desk is often covered in papers and ledger sheets because there is always something to write down. Devarapalli is the kind of place where you see the same faces every day, which makes the work feel more personal. We spend a lot of time talking to people about their financial plans and how the chit system works for them. It is not like those big banks where you are just a number. Here, we know who you are and where you live. Sometimes we stay late to finish up the monthly accounts, especially when there are a lot of entries to double-check. The office isn't anything special to look at, but it works for what we need. We use regular pens and paper mostly, though we have a computer for the official stuff. It is honest work and we take it seriously, even if we don't use big words to describe it. Most days are just about showing up and making sure the money is handled correctly for everyone involved. That is pretty much the whole story of what we do here in our village office every day.
