Home Science College

We are over here in Dakopgre, Tura. It is a quiet spot in Meghalaya where we focus on home science. Most people around here know where we are, but for those who do not, just head towards the 794101 area. The college has been part of this community for a while now. We keep things pretty straightforward. Students come here to learn about things like nutrition, textiles, and managing a household. It is practical stuff that actually matters in real life. There are a few different buildings on the campus. We try to keep the place tidy but it definitely looks like people live and work here. Sometimes the weather in Tura gets a bit much, but classes keep going regardless. We do not have fancy signs or a big marketing team. It is just us teachers and the staff trying to make sure the students get what they need. You will see us around the neighborhood often. Life here moves at its own pace. We are not trying to be the biggest school out there. We just want to do a decent job with the resources we have. If you walk by, you might hear some cooking going on or see students working on sewing projects. It is a busy place but in a quiet way. We handle our own paperwork and keep the classrooms ready every morning. That is pretty much how we spend our days at Home Science College. It is not flashy, but it works for the people in Tura.
