Defence Hospital

If you know the bus stand area in Chowkham, you probably know where Defence Hospital is. We are situated right there, near the Chowkham bus stand. It’s a busy spot with buses coming and going at all hours and people rushing to catch their rides. Being so close to the transport hub means we get people from all over, not just the local village area. The noise from the horns and the crowds is just part of our daily background here. Inside the hospital, we try to keep things a bit more orderly. It's not a luxury place, but we have the beds and the equipment needed for basic care for anyone who walks in. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint next summer, but for now, they are okay for what we do. We spend most of our time dealing with whatever comes through the door. Since we are near the bus stand, we often help people who are just passing through and get sick or have an accident. The staff here lives mostly nearby so they understand the local ways of doing things. We don't have a big corporate office or a marketing team telling us what to say to the public. We just do the work. Usually, there's someone at the front desk to help, though they might be busy on the phone or filing papers. It's a practical place for people who need help without any extra fuss.
