Cherrapunjee Holiday Resort

We have been up here in Village Laitkynsew for quite some time now. Cherrapunjee Holiday Resort is just what we do every day. It gets very wet around here, as everyone probably knows, but we like it that way. Most days it is just us making sure the people who come to stay have a dry spot to sit and look at the hills. We didn't really plan on being a big thing when we started. We just began small in the village and kept going year after year. People come for the views and the long walks near the falls. We don't have any fancy lobbies or anything like that. It is mostly just the rooms and some food when the kitchen is open. Our family lives right here too, so you might see the kids running around or us fixing a leak after a big storm hits. The roads up to Laitkynsew can be a bit bumpy sometimes, but that is just how the hills are. We try to keep things clean and quiet for everyone. It is not a city hotel, so don't expect any elevators. Just a place to stay while you are looking at the clouds. Sometimes the power goes out, but we have some candles ready. We just focus on getting through the day and making sure the blankets are warm enough for the mist. It is a simple life out here in the village. Not much else to say really.
