Ybi Foundation

We are located at C-176B in Gali Number 38, over in Mahavir Enclave Part 3. It is a typical neighborhood spot, nothing too fancy. The Ybi Foundation started because we felt like there was a gap in how things were being handled for people in this part of town. Our office is basically a few rooms with some old computers and a lot of notebooks. We do not have a big sign outside, just a small one so people know they are in the right place. It gets quite loud during the day with the local traffic and kids playing in the street, but we have gotten used to it. We mostly spend our time talking to people who come in with various issues. It could be anything from help with paperwork to just needing someone to listen. We are not experts in everything, but we try to point people in the right direction. The stairs up to the office are a bit steep, so take your time if you visit. We keep the kettle going for most of the day because we all drink way too much tea. It is just a handful of us here, and we all do a bit of everything, from cleaning the floors to handling the accounts. It is not a glamorous life, but it feels right to be doing this here in Mahavir Enclave. We usually lock up around six or seven in the evening. There is a small bakery nearby that smells amazing every afternoon when they start baking.
