Our space is in Uttam Nagar, at B-24 and 25, which used to be Old Plot No. 8 and 9. We are on the second floor of Block-B in Jain Park. The easiest way to find us is to look for the Gurudwara nearby; it’s a major landmark. Uttam Nagar is very lively and sometimes quite loud, especially with the market so close. We focus on peace initiatives, which is a bit of a contrast to the hectic energy of the street outside. The office itself is pretty plain. We have some whiteboards where we scribble ideas and a few old computers that take a while to boot up. The stairs are narrow, so moving furniture in was a real headache. We have a small balcony overlooking the street where you can watch the rickshaws go by. It’s a good place to work because we are right in the middle of everything. We aren't a big international corporation with fancy offices; we are just a small group of people in a local building. Most of our day is spent sending emails and trying to connect with other groups. Sometimes the power cuts out, and we just open the windows to catch a breeze. It’s a very humble setup, but it suits the kind of work we do. We like being in Jain Park because it feels like a real community where people know each other. It takes about ten minutes to walk here from the metro station if the crowds aren't too bad.
