We've been here in Karam Pura at H.No. I-400 for quite some time now. It’s a busy spot in New Delhi and there is always something going on outside our door. Most days start with us opening up the shutters and seeing what needs to be done. We deal with auto parts and the usual stuff you’d expect from a place like this. It gets a bit greasy and loud, but that is just how the work is. The neighborhood knows us pretty well. Sometimes people just stop by to say hello or ask for a quick hand with something. We aren't doing anything fancy here. The floors aren't perfectly clean and the desks have piles of notes on them. We just handle the orders as they come in and try to stay on top of the list. It’s a local operation, nothing more. The guys in the back are usually busy with the heavy lifting while someone sits at the front to talk to anyone who walks in. It’s hot in the summers, especially with the fans just moving the warm air around. We’ve seen the streets change over the years, more cars and more noise, but we just keep doing our thing at this same address. It’s a simple life of working with machines and parts, getting through the week, and making sure the gate is locked tight at night. The ceiling fan makes a clicking noise every time it's on the high setting.
