Dr Kapur’S The Healing Touch Eye Centre has been a part of Vikaspuri for quite some time now. We are located at D-8, and it’s a place where we spend our mornings and evenings looking at people’s eyes. The waiting area has a few chairs that have seen better days, but they are comfortable enough for the short wait most people have. We see a lot of kids who need their first pair of glasses and older folks who are having trouble reading the newspaper like they used to. It’s a local spot, so we know many of the neighbors by name. The walls are lined with those charts with the letters that get smaller at the bottom, and we have the usual equipment for testing vision. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait for the backup to kick in, which is just part of living in Delhi. We don't really do fancy marketing or anything. Most people just walk in because they live a few blocks away or their neighbor told them Dr. Kapur is a good person to talk to about their sight. It’s a busy little place, especially on Saturday mornings when everyone seems to realize they need an appointment at the same time. We keep things straightforward here. There is no big corporate vibe, just a small team trying to help people see a bit clearer than they did when they walked in.
