Verkhi Global Impex Private Limited operates out of Shop No. 12 on the first floor of Plot No. WZ-20A in Asalatpur, Janakpuri. It’s a classic New Delhi setup where you have a shop in a busy plot and you just make the most of the space you have. Since we are on the first floor, we get a bit of a view of the street below, which is always crawling with people and traffic. Janakpuri is a lively area, and there is never a dull moment around here. Our office is basically one big room where we handle all our import and export tasks. We’ve got shelves lining the walls filled with folders and samples of things we’ve traded over the months. It’s not the most organized place in the world, but we know where everything is. We spend our mornings responding to messages from suppliers and our afternoons making sure the shipping labels are correct. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but it’s important to the people we work with. We don't have a huge staff, so we all know each other well and help out when things get busy. Sometimes we grab lunch from the food stalls downstairs, which is one of the perks of being in Asalatpur. We aren't here to change the world; we’re just here to do our jobs and make sure things get delivered.
