Time Gallery Mobile & Watch

Our shop is tucked away in the Western Wing of Tis Hazari, right near the Allahabad Bank. It is shop number 430. We decided to do both mobiles and watches because that is what people seem to need most these days. Half the shop has phone cases and chargers, and the other half is full of watches and clocks. It makes the place look a bit busy, but it works for us. We get a lot of court staff coming in because their phone screen broke or their watch stopped during a hearing. It can get pretty frantic in the mornings when everyone is rushing to get to their offices. We have a small stool for customers to sit on while they wait, but usually, they just stand and chat. The lighting is a bit bright because we need to see the tiny screws in the phones and the watch movements. We have been here for a few years and have seen the area change a bit. It’s a lot of walking for people in this part of Tis Hazari, so they appreciate having a place that can fix two things at once. We keep the counter clear so we can work, but the back area is full of boxes. It’s just how a small business goes. We stay open late most days until the foot traffic dies down around here. That is the way we run things.
