The Studio Axis Design

Our office is Building No-72 on East Avenue Road in East Punjabi Bagh. We are right opposite Dhingra Park, which is a nice landmark because it’s a bit of a green spot in a busy city. People often use the park for their morning walks, and we see them from our windows while we’re working. We’ve been here for quite a while now. The business is pretty straightforward. We do design work for houses, mostly around the West Delhi area. It involves a lot of sketching and then a lot of standing around on construction sites. We don't really have a fancy philosophy. We just look at a room and try to figure out how to make it look decent and work well for the family living there. Some days are just spent on the phone trying to find a specific type of light fixture or checking if the carpenter has finished the wardrobes. It can be frustrating when things get delayed, but that’s just the reality of doing business here. The team is just a handful of people who know their way around a floor plan. We aren't a big corporation with departments; we all just pitch in and do whatever needs to be done that day, whether it’s drafting a new design or carrying samples to a client’s house.
