You can find us over at B-6/18 in Rajouri Garden, which is a place most people in New Delhi know for its markets and food. Our office is a bit different from the shops around here, as we are mostly focused on the quiet work of accounting and auditing. The firm has a long name, Thakur, Vaidyanath Aiyar & Co., but we are just a group of people who have been doing this for a long time. The office has that old-school feel to it, with heavy wooden desks and lots of filing cabinets that have probably been there since the start. We do not go in for any of that modern corporate styling. Instead, we have a space that is comfortable and practical for long hours of looking at ledgers. Rajouri Garden is a lively area, so there is always something going on outside, but inside, we keep it pretty quiet and focused on the task at hand. We deal with a lot of different clients, from small shop owners to bigger firms, and we treat everyone the same. There is no polish or pretense here, just honest work and a lot of focus on the details. We have seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, but our office remains a steady place where the work gets done, one page at a time. We are just here doing the job as it comes.
