Tandon Maternity Clinic

Our clinic is located in the C2B Block of Janakpuri, specifically at C2B/29A. It’s a residential area, so it’s usually a bit quieter than the main markets. We focus on maternity care here, so the atmosphere is a little different than a general hospital. There’s a lot of waiting involved for the mothers-to-be, so we try to keep things calm. The rooms are simple, with enough space for checkups and ultrasounds. We see a lot of nervous first-time parents and some who have been here before with their older kids. The hallway is often lined with strollers or people sitting and talking quietly. It’s a small place, which means we get to know the faces of the people who come in every few weeks. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook with questions about appointments or paperwork. We just handle it as it comes. The walls have a few posters about health, and the floors are kept as clean as we can manage with so many people walking in and out. It’s a steady pace of work, from the early morning until we finish in the evening. We don't have any fancy decorations, just the essentials for taking care of women and their babies. It feels like a small community inside these walls. Most of the staff has been working together for a long time, so we have our own way of doing things that just works for us and the patients.
