Our office is located at 20, North West Avenue in the Punjabi Bagh Extension. It’s a fairly quiet street compared to the main roads, which makes for a decent working environment. The building is a bit older, with some cracks in the pavement outside, but it serves us well. We deal with boards and related materials, so there’s always a bit of that woody smell in the air. We have some samples leaning against the walls and stacks of papers on most of the flat surfaces. The kitchen area is small, just enough for a kettle and some cups. We don't have a big team, so we all end up doing a bit of everything. One day you might be answering the phone, and the next you’re helping move some stock in the back. It’s a practical way of running things. Punjabi Bagh is a nice area, and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the neighborhood. The morning starts with us opening the shutters and checking what needs to be delivered. We don't have fancy brochures or anything like that. If someone wants to know what we have, we just show them. It’s a straightforward way to spend the day. We stay until the work is done and then lock up for the night. Sometimes the delivery trucks are a bit late, but that’s just part of the job. We don’t overthink things here, we just keep working.
