Suri Housing & Construction Co. is basically a small team of us who have been around the building trade for quite a long time. It’s not a glamorous job, and our office reflects that. It’s full of blueprints, some old samples, and plenty of dust from the sites. Delhi is always busy, and Paschim Puri is no exception. There’s always noise outside and people moving about. We spend most of our time out on sites or sitting here trying to figure out the logistics of the next project. Sometimes things go smoothly, and sometimes there are delays with materials or the weather doesn't cooperate, which is just part of being in construction. We don't use any of those big corporate words to describe what we do. We just build things and fix things. Our desks are usually covered in coffee cups and scribbled notes because that’s how we keep track of everything. It’s an honest way to make a living, even if it gets exhausting during the peak of summer. We’ve known some of our workers for years, and we just try to keep things steady. It’s not about having the biggest name in town, just about doing the work that comes our way and keeping the business going year after year without making too much of a fuss.
