Suchintan Policy Research Foundation

Suchintan Policy Research Foundation is based out of a flat in Vasant Kunj, specifically D2/2452. It’s a quiet residential area, which is good because we do a lot of reading and writing here. We spend our time looking into different policies and trying to figure out how things could work better for people. It’s not the kind of place with a front desk or a receptionist. Usually, you’ll just find one of us sitting with a laptop and a stack of reports. The shelves are overflowing with books and files we’ve gathered over the years. Sometimes we have meetings around the dining table because it’s the biggest surface we have. It’s a very low-key operation. We aren't a big think tank with a huge budget. We just care about getting the facts right. The tea kettle is almost always on because we stay up late working on some study or another. It’s a bit cluttered with papers and coffee mugs, but we know where everything is. South Delhi is a good place to be, even if our corner of it is just a simple apartment. We like the quiet here as it helps us focus on the hard questions we’re trying to answer. It’s not fancy, but it gets the job done and we feel like we are contributing something real from our little workspace in the city.
