Kirti Nagar is a place that everyone in Delhi knows because of the wood and the furniture shops. Stork Hotels And Resorts Private Limited is located right there at 1/108 in the WHS area. It is basically the heart of the Timber Market. If you walk around here, you can always smell the sawdust in the air. Our office is in a spot that is mostly surrounded by warehouses and big trucks unloading logs. It is a bit of a gritty area but it feels real. We spend most of our days here handling all the stuff for our hotels and resorts. The building is not new but it is solid. Dealing with the West Delhi traffic to get here every morning is a bit of a task, especially with all the commercial vehicles blocking the lanes. But once you are inside, it is just our regular workspace. We have a few desks and some old files stacked up. It is not some glass building with a shiny lobby. It is just a practical place to run a business. Most of the people around us are dealers or workers, so the environment is very hardworking. We like it that way because it keeps us focused on the day-to-day things that need to be done. Sometimes we go out for tea at the local stall nearby. It is just how things are in this part of town. 1/108 is our home base and we have been here for a good stretch of time now.
