Star Tree-Animal Welfare Association is tucked away in Office No. 301, Plot No 12, Block-G. We are right in the Community Centre of Vikas Puri, West Delhi. It’s a 110018 zip code. Working with animals means our office isn't always the quietest or cleanest place, but we like it that way. We aren't a big, fancy organization with a lot of funding. Most of what we do comes from just wanting to help the local animals. Vikas Puri is a nice area, and the community centre is usually buzzing with people. Our spot on the third floor is where we coordinate everything. We don't have any polished marketing materials. We just write things down as they are. Sometimes we are out on the streets, and other times we are stuck behind the desk doing the boring stuff like filing and phone calls. It’s a bit of a juggle. We don't use those slogans about saving the world. We just try to help one animal at a time when we can. The team here is small, just a few people who care about what they’re doing. It’s practical, everyday work. We’ve been here long enough that the regulars know us. We don't need much, just enough space to do our bit for the neighborhood animals. That’s enough to keep us busy every single day.
