Srajak Foundation

Srajak Foundation is situated on the ground floor of Plot No- 235 in Harijan Colony, which is part of Rewla Khanpur village in Najafgarh. It’s a bit of a trek for some people, but we like being out here. It’s a different vibe than the middle of the city. We’ve got a bit more space, though the ground floor can get a little dusty with the trucks passing by. We set this up because we saw a lot of things in the village that could be better. We aren't trying to change the whole world, just our little corner of it. The office is usually open early, and there’s almost always someone here if you need to talk. We don't have a fancy website or a bunch of social media people. It’s just us. Sometimes the power goes out in Najafgarh, and we just light some candles and keep talking. It’s a very local thing. Most of the people who help us out live just a few streets away. We don't go in for big speeches. We just look at what needs to be done today and we try to do it. It’s a simple way of working, but it’s the only way we know how to keep things moving forward. We don’t really have any bosses, just a group of friends doing our best to make a difference.
